How do i take care Mentally after birth?
We are more sensitive towards our emotions after delivery. This is due to hormonal change of our body. There may be experience of more weeping , agitation, anxiety, impatient, frustrations, having low self esteem, lack of confidence, guiltĀ and even depression.
Depression affects 5 – 22 % of women after childbirth. Postnatal depression is regarded seriously by medical health professionals and is upsetting not only to the women suffering from it but to their families as well.
