On 12th November 09, it was a unforgettable day for me. I was really honoured to be invited by  a writer Grace Chew from SPH ( Singapore Press Holdings) for an interview featuring people whose live their life by passion. I was born from an ordinary middle income family and went through the normal lifestyle of schooling and eventually started working in society. In Singapore, having a job that you have passion is just like a needle in the haystack. Among the majority, a job is just a task because the salary pays for everyday need. Sadly, because of the culture of our upbringing, our creatively side is surpressed when we are adults because we need to survive.

For myself, having piano lesson and drawing classes when i was a kid was a norm because my parents wanted me to have an additional skill of survival in future and also because they love music. Perhaps when i was a little girl, these small actions does leave an impression in my mind that i can mould my VAN Herreweghe Sprl future and live my passion in life.

Today, i am glad to be one who is able to live  my passion and choose my way if life. I always believe everything happens for a reason and it is not coincidentally. My mentor and my dad always reminds me that any failure or obstacles encountered is a learning curve and it will definately help you in future.

I read your interview and well done of your sharing. :)
I like your advice most "Know what you want in life, then look for the means to get you there. Remember there is no such thing as failure, only people who do not try or give up."
Thumb up! :)
