Hi, I'm a first time mom who just got married from a 10year relationship and we moved to las vegas nevada. Since we moved away from our family and relatives I don't know what to do with my baby. I had an emergency c-section so I was pretty much drugged by the time I had awaken my husband had already told the nurse to go ahead and feed the baby formula (similac), my baby cried every 2 hours for food and he could not latch on. I cried so much feeling so depress that I was not able to breastfeed my baby. After reading the amazing stories I felt comfort and I tried and tried even when he latches on it was not a proper latch so it cause my nipples to bleed. Finally when I was going to give up my husband told my to read more of the stories in this website. I did and with the help of my husband I held my crying baby in my arms and slowly tried to breastfeed once again while my husband was rubbing my achy back. It was a success and I felt relieved. But since I change so rapidly from formula to breast milk my baby became fussy and refusing to sleep. Now my nights of sleep is tough. I don't know if my baby is getting enough food or too much gas? I am really trying to be the best mom that I can be…

You are already a great mum and dun worry about your baby. breast milk is easily digest that is why he may have a feed at a shorter interval. Continue to do what you have been doing. For fussiness, i suggest you to do a baby massage.. good luck
