I was at the StarBucks that day and i was amazed that almost students had their own lap tops. Some of them even had the latest touchscreen handphones. A thought suddenly strike me that wireless network is a part of our life, we cant live without our gadgets honesty. If you just take a minute and look around you, 99% of people uses the internet everyday and sometimes the time we use on the internet could be more than the time we are sleeping. On 12th November 09, it was a unforgettable day for me. I was really honoured to be invited by a writer Grace Chew from SPH ( Singapore Press Holdings) for an interview featuring people whose live their life by passion. I was born from an ordinary middle income family and went through the normal lifestyle of schooling and eventually started working in society. In Singapore, having a job that you have passion is just like a needle in the haystack. Among the majority, a job is just a task because the salary pays for everyday need. Sadly, because of the culture of our upbringing, our creatively side is surpressed when we are adults because we need to survive.
Today, i finally decided to blog about this topic because over the past 6 months, many mums had emailed me and even spoke to me that they wanted to do something of their own, a small business to supplement the household income or have their own pocket money so that they do not have to depend solely on their husband income as a Stay At Home Mum. Some mummies want some income so that they can pluck the courage to quit their day job and truly fulfill their desire to be a full time mum. Indeed in Singapore the Dollar ($) is one of a deciding factor for most people and we always tell people that we are making our money work for us when we does investment or shares but when we think carefully, we are actually working for our money instead because we slogged so hard to make sure the money is ours and credited into our bank at the end of the month.

I am a Work at Home Mum. Many people assume that work at home moms have it easy; however, if any of those people have ever lived a day as a WAHM they would know it isn’t so simple. There are children to take care of, a house to clean, groceries to buy, dinner to cook and dishes to wash. Oh, and then there’s that business to work , sorting everything from staff management , customers service to book keeping and tons more !
